First haircut and a little bit of sun

Last weekend I took Raleigh to get his first haircut at the the salon at Kids Club at U.Village.  He had strands of baby hair that were a few inches long so I figured it was time to get it cleaned up a bit.  The haircut lasted all of about 5 minutes and cost a whopping $25, but was definitely worth it to "drive" a yellow car and stare in the mirror.  We left with a great new hairdo, a photo and a baggy of hair to include in his baby book.  If you're looking for a place to take your little one, I would highly recommend this salon.

Since I work during the week, I'm not able to take many photos of Raleigh when the sun is out. Therefore, I embrace the weekends and take full advantage of my handsome boy and perfect lighting. Today, in particular, the lighting could not have been better...below are a few photos I took in our yard this afternoon. If my baby boy is anything like his dad, he'll be spending endless hours in his "work pants" out in the yard, the shop and the garage.

Is Raleigh trying to walk already?? Or can he just hold himself in a standing position? When are you going to enroll him in baby modeling?!

Coffey, your son is ADORABLE!!! I can't even stand it! Also, I drive to Kids Club for the hair cuts too! I hear there is one in Tacoma but U Village is so fun anyway. They do a great job there. PS- I think we might be neighbors. Do you live anywhere near Misty???
